The issue is entirely devoted to Persia. The only other article, Persian Caravan Sketches: The Land of the Lion and the Sun as Seen on a Summer Caravan Trip, is by Harold F. Weston on pp417-468, and includes a map and 63 illustrations of which 16 are in color (some colored by the author). Tall 8vo/25.5cm. F.L. Bird had been an instructor at an American college in Teheran for five years. Harold F. Weston had been employed by the YMCA in Mesopotamia since 1916.
