A Folding map opposite the Title page (A fold-out Map of Peru by Sidney Hall) torn with some old repairs made, and a triangular LOSS to top left corner (approx 1" x 2") . 3 full page b/w steel engravings ('blind' stamps to each) = 'View from L'Angostura de Paine'; 'Lima'; & 'Crossing the Cordellera'. There is a small smudged stamp to the foot of the rear pastedown. - otherwise NO Inscriptions. Five (5) plates and One (1) Map all present (without tissue) as published. A very tightly bound copy appearing unread for all intents and purposes. .
