Leeds, England: Alf Cooke Ltd.. Hardcover. Good. W. Heath Robinson. GOOD+ large format HC, 9" x 11.25", circa 1907-1910. Eighteen full-page color plates and many b&w vignettes by W. Heath Robinson, Britain's premier illustrator in the early 20th century. Historical rhymes of historical times by Roland Carse. Boards rubbed at corners, red cloth spine has 2.5" tear at bottom. Front hinge weakened, several pages with short edge tears, markings on back of one plate only, two of 18 plates loose with wear to edges, no foxing.
