Translated from the French by A. P. H. Hamilton. Few are better qualified to discuss the highlights of Claude Monet's career than Yvon Taillandier, author of Cezanne; The Origins of Modern Painting and The Eye's Voyage: An Introduction to the Art of Visual Appreciation. The carefully selected and reproduced illustrations include several which have not been reproduced before. Printed in Italy. Hardcover with dust jacket. .
