First Canaveral Edition, New York, 1962, illustrated by Grolier award winner Mahlon Blaine, pp. 188, 21 cm tall with red cloth covered boards and black lettering, dust jacket (in mylar) with cover, frontispiece and occasional plates illustrations. Fine in Fine - jacket is bright, book is crisp with sharp corners. First appeared in print under the title of "A Man Without a Soul" in the November, 1913 issue of All-Story Magazine, and was first published in book form in hardcover by A. C. McClurg in March, 1929 under the title "The Monster Men." Classic Canaveral reprint with spectacular science fiction illustrations by tortured soul Blaine.
