In quite good green bordered boards with central colour illustration of Rupert with clothed lizard-type character to front and with red cloth spine. The boards are worn, a little loose, lighlty marked, shelf-cocked. Age-toned cut edges. The text block is fairly firm, is straight and quite clean. Good condition. Illustrated throughout. The 'This Book Belongs To' has been filled in, otherwise not annotated. Issued without jacket.

Quarter cloth and hardboards. Hardboard corners bumped and rubbed with some loss and one corner particularly rounded through use. Some loss of paper outer covering to the board edges and peripheries. "This book belongs to" filled in with several names and a couple of short inscriptions. Some finger soiling to the pages. A light and somewhat capable watercolour of a Classical building to the rear paste-down. Some loss to the rear paste-down (paper) towards the lower corner. A good minus, tight copy of an early Rupert annual.

Reprint. 4to. no date, A story and picture book with 120 cut-outs in colour 1954 - Original red cloth backed pictorail boards, binding very good with a little general wear and rubbing to extremities, corners worn. Contents clean and tight, "this book belongs to" is not filled out, a little reading wear and a few biro scribbles to roughly five pages, all cut outs present. A very good copy..

Numerous other b/w illustrations. (This is a 1950's reprint of the original which was published with 200 cut-outs and five stories). Contains: Rupert In Trouble Again; Rupert and the Old Man of the Sea; Rupert and the Wilful Princess; Rupert Goes Hiking. Spine is bumped and damaged - looks like it has been re-glued; also has some fraying to cloth. Some scuff marks and a few ink marks to covers. Corners and cover edges are very worn, with some bumping. Half of 1 of 1st pages with cut-outs on has been torn off. Top corner of 1 page is torn off, with a bit of loss to picture and a little to text. A working copy.

Spine and corners bumped and worn. Covers slightly edge rubbed. Spine slightly faded with a few small marks. Name and date in belongs to box. A couple of tiny margins tears. Contents clean.

Front cover shows Rupert pulling small boy out of hole in road. Pale green pictorial boards, red cloth spine. Front cover states that there are 200 cut-outs and five stories. (Later reprints had 120 cut-outs and four stories). This edition states it Contains Rupert in Trouble Again; Rupert and the Old Man of the Sea; Rupert the Witch and Tabitha; Rupert and the Wilful Princess; Rupert Goes Hiking. However, One story is MISSING (published and bound this way) - Missing Rupert, The Witch and Tabitha, it also has 132 cut-outs (NOT the stated 200 or later 120). An early reprint! Spine is unevenly faded and marked. Bumping and wear to cover edges. A few scuff marks. Foxing and browning to outer page edges. No cut-outs have been cut out from book. Inscription in ink to front endpaper. An early reprint.
