Paris: Arthaud, 1975. 1st Edition . Hardcover. Fine/Good. FIRST EDITION. Original blue cloth with white lettering spine. The book is in fine condition with no previous owner marks or writing on any pages, clean, tight binding, no foxing. The dust jacket has a 10cm tear upper rear, 3cm tear lower front, 1cm chip upper rear. The book measures 345mm tall x 233mm, and has 208 pages, 191 color photos (most are full-page size), 11 pages of tables peaks & first ascent info, EP map, index. Text in german, no english edition. Mainly a photo album of major peaks around the world. The tables of first ascent/height data are for the 4000ers of the Alps, the 7000ers worldwide, the 6000ers of the Americas, and the giants of the Himalaya-Karakorum. PHOTOS ARE OF THE ACTUAL BOOK BEING OFFERED.
