Light crease on back cover. Previous owners name stamped on top page edges, tiny stamp 1/8th inch high, one inch long. Clean, straight, tight book with only the slightest hint of age-tanning. Covers bright. The first manned spaceship to reach the moon discovered a world hidden from human eyes. A world of flying women, of conical cities, and of semi-human monsters who fought for powere across these eerie Lunar plains.
Synopsis
The Moon Maid is an Edgar Rice Burroughs Lost World novel. It was written in three parts, Part 1 was begun in June 1922 under the title The Moon Maid, Part 2 was begun in 1919 under the title Under the Red Flag, later retitled The Moon Men, Part 3 was titled the The Red Hawk.
