Contains black and white photographic frontispiece, with other plates throughout. Missing front free endpaper. Loss to a couple corners of pages; text is not affected. Pages are mildly tanned and foxed, but text remains clear. Plates are bright. Binding is firm. Previous owner's inscription to half title page. Boards have light shelf-wear, with minor corner bumping and minimal scuffing to edges. Spine and edges are moderately sunned, with noticeable crushing and splitting to ends. Light rubbing and scuffing overall, with visible marking also.
