Paris: Albin Michel, 1925. Book. Good. Hardcover. No Jacket; Octavo. Five volumes; two styles of binding: the first two volumes, have spines in three irregularly spaced compartments, with the author and title is small compartments at the top and bottom, separated by modestly decorated compartment. The boards are covered with marbled paper and the corners are not leather. These volumes also have marbled endpapers. The other three volumes are in contemporary three-quarter calf with undecorated spine in six compartments and two labels; small-pebbled cloth covered boards. There is a 5 cm separation at the bottom front hinge of II; slight browning to page edges; light foxing to endpapers, text in French; illustrated. Dr. Augustin Caban? ? s (1862-1928) was a French doctor, historian and author of numerous works of fiction and history. He was known for his books on historical medical mysteries.".
