London: J.M. Dent, 1921. 2nd Edition . Good. 5.25 x 8 inches (13.5 x 20 cm). Signed by Author. Purple buckram binding. Covers marked and faded, wear and bumping to ends of spine and corners of boards. Endpaper joints cracked but held by cords and webbing. Browning to endpapers, very light stain to upper and outer margins of numerous pages. From the private library of Richard Adams, author of Watership Down, signed and dated Feb 1941 by Adams to front free endpaper, he has also added a few pencilled notes to leading blank. This book accompanied Adams when he was stationed in the Middle East during WWII, which may account for the condition. Overall condition is Good. International postage will be less than the stated rate. Actual costs are Europe £11.60; Oceania £15.80; Rest of World £15.15. A postage refund will be made after the order has been placed.
