London.: Cassell.. Ca. 1880.. Chromolithograph, image size approximately 8 1/2 x 6 3/4 inches on sheet 10 1/2 x 8 inches. A few faint spots in outer margins. Very good condition. Single plate from "The Book of Poultry", published circa 1880 by Cassell & Co. The rich coloring of the chromolithography by Vincent Brooks Day & Son makes the antique poultry prints from this series particularly attractive. .
