Brown boards, bumped, edge and surface wear, particular wear to the bottom edge of the spine on the front cover, discoloured/faded/soiled covers, faded spine (lettering in gold still legible), 171 pages plus advertisements, light foxing throughout, former owner's ex libris plate on inside front cover, discolouration to pages inside the front and rear cover, dedication page has suffered surface damage (removal of sticker?), page 2 is loose and there are signs of separation between the signatures, but the binding is otherwise holding firm. No Dust jacket. This book is over 100 years old and quite presentable, notwithstanding the faults noted above. Price includes standard postage worldwide.

Hodder and Stoughton, 1906. Hardcover. Acceptable. 1906. No Edition Remarks. 159 pages. No dust jacket. Red cloth boards with lettering. Slight crinkling to paper at gutter. Clean pages with noticeable tanning and foxing throughout. Tightly bound with faint thumb marking throughout. Heavier tanning to free endpapers. Pen and pencil inscription and markings to front free endpaper and pastedown. Boards have moderate edge-wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Slight crushing to spine ends. Lettering is darkened. Moderate sunning to spine and edges. Visible wear marks to boards. Book has a slight forward lean.
