Undated, dated from Jisc. This edition is scarce.Victor Whitechurch was a Church of England clergyman and author. He was most well known for his detective stories.No dust wrapper present.  In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally, very smart. Only some minor bumping to the head and tail of the spine. The spine is slightly discoloured. There is some spotting to the fore edge. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are generally bright and clean, there is spotting to the endpapers. Very Good Indeed

Hazell was a vegetarian railway detective, whom the author intended to be as far from Sherlock Holmes as possible. In the publisher's original cloth binding. Bumping to back strip head and tail, with a touch of fading to spine. Spotting to fore edge of text block. Ink mark to front pastedown. Internally, firmly bound.
