Ace Books. Good. 1975. Paperback. The spine and front cover, next to the spine, are creased from reading. There is a vertical crease on the front cover in addition to the reading crease. The pages are clean, no tears or soiling. The pages and binding are tight. All three page edges are yellow stained. The only stated publication date is 1967, but the two color ads for cigarettes in the middle of the book are copyrighted 1975, so I figure it was a 1975 publication. ; 16mo 6" - 7" tall; 247 pages; An "easy to read · large type edition. Murder was not included in the curriculum of Findlater's Academy, but somewhere in the school's dim, shadowy halls a vicious killer lurks. . . When Christina graham discovered the body of her colleague with an antique compass buried in his back, the faculty privately agreed that a lot of people might have wanted the meddling old man dead. However, the school needed a math teacher. Luckily, David Ronaldson, who appeared mysteriously out of the rain qualified. A fortuitous coincidence. . . Or was it?
