Description:
St. Louis: Author Published; (1947). First Thus . Hardcover. Dust Jacket Included. This enlarged second edition privately printed for Grant Foreman by Blackwell Wielandy Company, St. Louis". Near fine in a very good dust jacket. Slight shelf wear to the gray/green cloth at the bottom edge of the boards. The jacket is complete and still bright with red and green colors, but it has been neatly reinforced with scotch tape along the top and bottom edges. This second edition contains a foldout map, numerous illustrations and an index; 223 pages. Signed by the author on the front endpaper. The second edition seems to be much scarcer that the first edition published by OU Press in 1943.
