Some foxing to front and end papers. Dark blue decorative cloth with gilt. Bright and tight. First book to come from Pitcairn native. Differs from first edition by addition of 12 pages of letters in the appendix. Last letter dated December, 1894. Book went through several editions as author supplemented Appendix with letters. Book is notable for being a history of Pitcairn society and events without the emphasis of the Bounty. Scarce early edition in exceptional condition. Please see scans of the book you will receive.
