London, England: Miniature Books-The Rodale Press, 1954. Hardcover. As New/Very Good. Type: Hardback Collectible. Hardcover Small Book As New with a Near Fine Jacket. 7.75 x 5 inches. 58 pages. The Duke's (Arthur Wellesley-The Iron Duke) letters during the last two years of his life to Mrs.Jones, a young society woman nearly sixty years younger than Wellesley. Prints of Apsley House and Strathfieldsaye, in full color; full color full portraits of The Duke and of Margaret Charoltte Jones. Bound in cream cloth over spine and burgundy boards, with script in cream across burgundy front. Very clean and unmarked. No edgewear. Internals pristine. Red jacket is unclipped, with black lettering and design, and has just slight wear on the upper edge and smudges near the corners on the back side. MiniatureBooks/The Rodale Press, London, England, 1954.
