This is the only known surviving My Fair Lady original film script to come to market. The script, which would have been used on set during rehearsals, is dated on its cover as March 15, 1963. In addition to containing the most iconic and memorable lines spoken by Hepburn in the film, the script has typed notes on several added or omitted scenes, and some handwritten marginal notes for timing the actors' lines and blocking the actors' movements during filming: "Additional song and dance sequence will be used here." This rare piece gives a unique glimpse into the detailed and serious preparation Hepburn undertook to make Eliza come to life. Some minor annotations in margins.
