VG/Poor jacket; Signed Limited First Edition (#294) signed on bookplate by Lenoir Hunt on fep; frontispiece of Sam Houston is detached but present; edges lightly tanned; o/w clean & tight: DJ (in Brodart) has 3 open tears about 1/2" x 1" in size on top front corner, middle & near lower front corner; front flap is detached but present; spine ends of DJ are chipped; and there are two small open tears about 1/2" in diameter on DJ spine near hinge; only one of the tears has removed any of the text on the front or back of the DJ; very nice copy of this scarce edition.
