Tokyo: New Gospel Society Publishing House, 1910. Hardcover. Very good condition. Miyazaki was a self styled Japanese prophet who called himself the "Messiah Buddha" and who taught a mixture of Christianity and Buddhism and prophesied a world of peace, once unified by him, the Prophet. Presentation copy, signed by the author and the translator: "Presented to David Williams, Takahashi Goro. Engineer Lieut. Commander M. Fuimori (Timori?), I J N (Imperial Japanese Navy). With a full page letter signed by Miyazaki loosely inserted, dated 13th Feb. 1912. The letter, written in English, is addressed to Mr. Williams and thanks him for "your kind notice bestowed upon my religious work while you were in Japan, my country". Small 8vo, iv, 234pp. Gold gilt cloth. OCLC: 22639943.
