The author was American psychologist and parapsychologist, best known for her work on Kirlian photography and the human aura. She was also an early member of The Actors Studio and a screenwriter. She entered LSD therapy to overcome grief after the death of her husband and her "frigidity." Clifford Odets blurb on back.
