Cracking to gutters of a few pages with exposed binding. Minor pencil inscription to front free endpaper. Binding is slightly shaky. Boards have moderate edge wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Soft crushing to spine ends. Book is slightly forward leaning. Staining to rear board edge with discolouration to cloth.

London: Methuen & co, 1946. Secomd edition, hardback. 12mo (19cm by 13cm), 165pp. Original blue cloth, dustwrapper. The endpapers are foxed; overall, the book is in good to very good condition. The dustwrapper is in good minus condition (edges chipped, foxing to the rear panel). The dustwrapper has now been put in a mylar cover to protect it.
