About This Item

London, United Kingdom: Andre Deutsch, 1957. Previous owners name to front free endpaper remains discreet. A very nice copy indeed. Housed in the enigmatic dustwrapper which is somewhat edgeworn with some chips and partial loss to the bottom of spine. Publishers printed price remains intact to front inside flap. Dustwrapper now protected in a removable archival booksleeve to preserve its condition. An overall decent example of Naipaul's much acclaimed first novel. Scarce in the surviving dustwrapper.. First Edition. Very Good/Good -. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall. FIRST EDITION.

Synopsis

V. S. Naipaul lives in Wiltshire, England.
