London: Pomegranate Artbooks, 1996. Hardcover. Fine/Fine. 8vo (square). ix, 102 p.p. [18] full page colour illustrations, with numerous in-text. Light wear to jacket covers and edges. Some wear to boards, extremities. Light sunning to head of pages, but interior clean, crisp. Otherwise in fine condition. Stories of myths and adventure beautifully retold from the Epic of Gilgamesh, The Homecoming of Odysseus, The Seven Voyages of Sinbad the Sailor, The Quest for the Holy Grail, Alexander the Great and others. This book accompanied an exhibition by the same title held in the British Library Galleries from June to September 1996.
