London: George G. Harrap, 1916. Second edition. Hardcover. Very Good +/no dust jacket. Myths and Legends of the Celtic Race by T.W. Rolleston original green binding has gilt lettering to the front and spine. The front board has white stains giving a mottled effect, only slight to the back board and spine clear. Overall the binding is in Good condition with the gilt still very bright. There are 456 numbered pages with the top edge tinted green and the remainder untrimmed. Opposite the Title Page is a full page colour frontispiece of Queen Meave by J.C. Leyendecker. The Myths and Legends of the Celtic Race is superbly illustrated with fifty-eight full-page illustrations. The pages are in overall Very Good condition with the front and rear endpapers browned; light browning to the margins of the title page; small marginal closed tear to page vii/viii. Pages ix and the List of Illustrations are unopened. Most pages are still very white and clean and tightly bound-in.
