Wyeth (1882-1945), the noted American painter and illustrator. Extensive biographical information is included. Front of volume contains color and b&w plates with examples of his work; back half is a detailed bibliography, listing the books, periodicals, newspapers, posters and other venues where his work appeared. With a foreword by Paul Horgan and an introduction by Richard Layton. --- In full blue buckram covers with gilt-stamped spine titling; dark blue endpapers. Jacket features representative works to front and back panels in color by Mr. Wyeth. --- With some fading to edges of cloth and endpapers and small tape remnants to endpapers, otherwise a clean, tightly-bound, bright copy. Price-clipped dust jacket has masking tape applied to edges of verso, the adhesive of which has slightly bled through to the front, else bright and intact and protected in removable archival mylar protector. (Due to the considerable weight of this item, extra shipping charges may be requested.); Quarto - 11 to 13 in. tall ; 335 pages .
