This listing is for a National Geographic Historical Atlas of the United States. Hardbound edition in like new condition, with slipcase like new. No missing or damaged pages, no creases or tears. The book has not been read and rarely opened (>10 times in 22 years, embarrassed to say . . .). There is an outer slip case for this hardcover book as well as a folder packed full of large maps. Everything is in excellent shape. The book is large - about 19 x12 inches - and a handsome addition to a collectors from historians, geographers, historiographers, map collectors, "Americana-ists," young and old, professional and amateur. National Geographical pulled out all the stops on this 1993 revision of the 1988 edition yielding impressive improvements!
