Toronto: The Macmillan Company, 1948. Hardcover. Near Fine/Very Good. 8vo. xii, 294 pp. 19 unnumbered B&W plates. Illustrated from photographs by the author. Frontis by Carl Rungius, sketches by Bruce Horsfall. Green cloth boards with gilt lettering to spine. Spine is sunned and bumpted at ends. Sunnign to head and top edges of boards. A few small white marks to boards. Pictorial dust jacket is bumped at edges and spine ends, a few chips and short tears, wear to joints and front cover. Ink ownership inscription to FFEP. The lover of wildlife wil find this volume most interesting reading, authentic, and handsomely illustrated.
