London: The Pilgrim Press, 1910. First Edition First Printing . Hardcover. Very Good/Fair/good. 4to - over 9¾ - 12" tall. Alice M. Davidson. The book is clean, tight and square with sharp corners. It is internally unmarked, but there is a name/address on a free end paper, a very small owner's paste down inside the front board and a smaller yet seller's paste down inside the rear board. The dust jacket is in pieces. separated at the gutters with some chips along the edges, but looks good enough in a Brodart cover. The black & white illustrations are great and it has 253 pages with some light toning mainly on the end papers. there is no date, but 1910 seems about right based on the books advertised on the dust jacket.

Davidson. Pages remain bright and clean with minimal tanning and foxing. Binding slightly loose. Small bookshop label to front pastedown. Boards have heavy shelf wear with bumping and fraying to corners and crushing and fraying to spine ends. All surfaces tanned and sunned, particularly spine. Some additional marks and staining. Heavy crease to front board corner. Boards are slightly bowed.
