New York, New York: American Nature Association, 1923. First Edition. Decorative Cloth. Very Good. An Illustrated Monthly with Popular Articles About Nature. Single volume--six issues bound without covers and advertisements. Quarto, 12" tall, 384 pages, green cloth. A very good, clean sturdy, hard cover overall, with minor shelf wear, rubbed at all extremities, minor soiling to cloth, interior hinges and binding solid, paper lightly yellowed with the previous owner's name on the front endpapers. This is the publisher's edition, printed from the original plates and includes all of the editorial material (articles, stories, poetry, etc.) of the separate issues but lacks the advertisements and individual covers. It was the practice of the time for most of the better literary magazines to issue such editions before melting down the original printers' plates.
