Quarto, 10 1/2" tall, decorative 3/4 leather over marbled boards, gilt titles, printed from the original plates for binding. A good, clean neat hard cover with moderate exterior rubbing at the spine edges, corner tips worn through, paper lightly yellowed, with light foxing to the fore-edges bit moderate foxing to the backfour pages; previous owner's private library stamp on front endpaper only, top of leather backstrip dampstained and chipped, dampstaining visible at the rear endpaper top mrtgin as well as minor insect damage to the margin of two pages not affecting text.
