Published in a numbered, limited edition version of 50 copies that were bound in brown leatherette with dark brown spine, no jacket as issued, housed in similar slipcase with title and buffalo skull embossed on front. This is one of 5, un-numbered Artist's Proof copies with NO laid-in, original art by illustrator Ernest Franklin. Book differs from the numbered versions by having a color, glossy piece of Franklin art as a pastedown on the front board. Book is Fine and slipcase is Very Good with touch of shelf wear and a half inch bump to top front edge that has torn the leatherette covering, though it is minor.
