Thick hardcover, blue cloth boards with gilt on front and spine. Exterior shows spotting and soiling along with edge and corner bumps/wear. The spine has a dark spot near the top and the rear board shows quite a bit of spotting with lifting to the cloth near the hinge area, the rear board shows faint splash marks when you hold it at an angle to the light. The internal binding is good and text pages are tight. No hinge issues, no signatures or bookplates, no library markings, no underlining found. The only evidence of handwriting found in the book is in the upper outside corner of the half title page where you could just make out where a price was once penciled and then later erased. The only reason for the lower condition grade is because the condition of the exterior cloth.
