Chicago: Browne's Bookstore, 1910. Book. Very Good. Wrappers. 16mo - over 5¾ - 6¾" tall. Tribute to Victorian novelist and poet, George Meredith, originally published 26 May 1909. Final page is poem "G.M. 1828-1909" by Thomas Hardy, dated May 1909. 18-page pamphlet in original tan wrappers sewn with gold-coloured silk, within an envelope of the same paper as the wrappers. Pages uncut. Slight wear to covers (fold at lower corner, minor bumping to fore edge) but overall presentation is excellent. The rarely-extant envelope is lightly soiled and bumped with a tear in upper corner. This is a copy of the scarce 1910 U.S. edition..
