Volume one (of 34) only, 4to (24.5 x 20 cm). Title printed in red and black. Engraved frontispiece (caption shaved), title vignette, and 7 engraved plates, of which four are folding. Contemporary German half calf, speckled paper boards, morocco lettering pieces on spine. Monogrammed bookplabel on front pastedown. The first volume of Loen's extensive illustrated collection of travel narratives, histories, and fables.
