An engraving of West Australian (Albany) aborigines encountering Europeans, with one aborigine wearing Western clothes and displaying trinkets to his tribe, with the French watching from the left side of the engraving. Based on De Sainson, a lithograph from a German edition of his work, but a mirror image. Plate number "33" in the top right corner. 10 1/4 x 6" on paper 13 x 9 1/4", b&w as issued, very good condition.
