Full Title: A New and Complete History of the Town and County of the Town of Kingston-Upon-Hull; With a Cursory Review of, and Observations on the Ancient Legend, From Its Original Foundation in A.D. 1296, By the Illustrious King Edward the First. The whole brought down to the present Period, and Carefully selected from the Records of the Town, and other Original Manuscripts, occasionally interspersed with Desultory Entertaining Anecdotes. Embellished with Superb Engravings. Recently rebound in fresh green covers with gilt lettering on spine and replaced end-papers and prelims., sound binding. Prelims and pages to 38 are strengthened along leading edges, some margins are darkened but pages are otherwise clean. Text in two columns on each page. Publication date on title-page is 1788 but final chapter and Appendix have information to 1791. Illustrations and tables contained are; 1. Frontis of Edward 1st with dedication (darkened) to the Mayor etc. beneath; 2.
