Oxford: Oxford University Press, 1978. Reprint. Hardcover. Ex-library/very good. Thirteen volume set! Blue cloth boards in dust jackets, quartos [9.5" x 12.5"], not illustrated. Books are ex-library with minimal markings that include small stamps to top edge of block, a few small stamps to front endpapers and discard stamps to rear endpapers; otherwise boards show mild shelfwear and rubbing, bindings tight, texts (aside from library stamps) are clean, rear flyleaves removed from each volume, tape to endpapers sticking to endpapers. DJs have faint sun to spines, small sticker ghosts to spine feet, now in archival mylar wraps. THIS LARGE, HEAVY SET WILL REQUIRE ADDITIONAL SHIPPING FEES.

Original uniform gilt lettered quarter morocco, top edge gilt (spines of all vols heavily rubbed and torn, with partial loss and tears at spines and discolouring on boards of some vols; bindings firm). Pp. various (some light spotting to endpapers; no inscriptions).

The first 8 in the original leather bindings but worn; missing spine on volume 8; others are peeled and broken. Cracking but the bindings are sound except volume 9 which is completely broken in the middle. The last 3 are rebound in blue boards. A couple library marks, a few pages are wrinkled; many of the pages in volume 9 have a wave to them; otherwise the text blocks are good. A little bit of bug damage to the rear endpapers on volumes 10. These books are about 10 x 13 inches and measure 43 1/2 inches on a shelf.
