A rare, 17th-century English translation of Jacques de Langlade's memoirs on the lives of Henri, Viscount of Turenne and his brother Frederic of Auvergne, Duke of Bouillon. These two brothers were important French marshals known for their military leadership during the Dutch War.

This first English edition was translated out of the French by William King.
