New York, NY: Merrill & Baker, 1901. 289pp through 583. Index. Hardcover in 3/4 red leather on cloth, six raised bands, gilt spine decorations. Complete set is illustrated with seventy-two coloured plates and sixteen hundred engravings. Ex Libris sticker to inside front cover. Inner pages are clean (unmarked) but age-toned. Hinges slightly creased but still secure. Inner text block is tight and sound. Endpapers and outer page edges slightly foxed, dust soiling to boards and outer page edges. Shelfwear (covers have some scuffing, fairly heavy rubbing to extremities (down to boards in a few spots), chipping to head/heel to spine, fraying to corners. This volume is the larger birds, herons through moas; it has 4 colored plates with tissue: Night-heron and Boatbill, Wild Duck; Penguins; Ostriches; also several full-page b&w plates. Nice reading copy of this increasingly scarce title. . First Thus. Hard Cover. Fair/No Jacket as Issued. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall.

After that, $.50 for each additional book. Priority mail is based on size and weight of book. Cost starts at 10.00 but will be adjusted for smaller books that fit into Priority Mail boxes and envelopes. Oversized and/or heavy books may cost more. UPS/RPS or Fedex available at additional cost upon request. All shipments to Mexico or Canada over four (4) pounds is subject to rate increase. Returns will be accepted on a limited basis. If any item arrives and is not in the condition described on Biblio, or is not the edition listed on the website, we will refund both the item and shipping both ways - upon receipt of the return package. Otherwise, our used book sales are final.
