Green cloth boards with black cloth overlay on the spine with bright gilt lettering on the spine with African pictures on boards. 302 pp 8vo. This is the story of a sculptress who goes with her husband for his job in Liberia during the WWII years. She is a home with the exotic woods she used for sculpture and is a source of wonder and amusement to the natives on the plantation as she world in her mud and thatch studio. Full of stories about Africa and Liberia. a clean very presentable copy in a Brodart mylar jacket.
