New York: Harper & Brothers, 1948. 1st Edition . Hardcover. VG+/Good. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. See photos for condition details. Hardcover with dust jacket. Original price of $5.00 is still present on the front flap. DJ is worn and tattered with numerous tears and chips, divot on rear side of jacket. Blue cloth boards underneath are clean with the only issue being a bump on the lower right corner. Internal binding is good, no hinge issues and text pages are tight. No signatures or bookplates, no library markings. Only evidence of handwriting found in the book is on the front end page where would may be a price was penciled along the top edge and then later erased.
