About This Item
Dallas: Numismatics International, 1985. One hundred and eight issues of the staplebound bulletin, 5.5x8.5 inches, most issues with holes punched at left for storage in a three-ring binder (holes not impinging on the text). Generally very good, though there is often uneven toning to the first and last issues of each year, as these were stored in groups by volume number. Issues present are: Vol. 10, nos. 1-12, vol. 11 nos. 1-12, vol. 12 nos. 1-12, vol. 13 nos. 1-12, vol. 14 nos. 1-12, vol. 15 nos. 1-12, vol. 16 nos. 1-12, vol. 18 nos. 1-12, and vol. 19 nos. 1-12 (the first of which is misnumbered vol. 20). Also included are numerous "Notes of interest" supplements, membership directories and annual index booklets. This bulletin served as a venue for the publication of articles on international and ancient numismatics. A sampling of topics covered: Maltese counterstamps, Leper colony currency, Gold coinage of Mahmut II, Commemorative coins of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Churches depicted on German-Austrian notgeld, and much more.
