Book interior AS NEW, Dust Jacket Fine. Book has orange cloth boards and spine and shiny gold lettering. Very slight sag of interior from being on shelf. Dust jacket is NOT PRICE CLIPPED, is a colour reproduction of an oil painting of the Falls. Dust jacket has few minor creases at top of spine, and two almost invisible small (1/2 inch and less) slits. Sewn binding. Book is clean and tight. Three sections of Black/white photos plates. Some black/white drawings and maps. Free and fixed end pages are illustrated. A thick heavy book, may need extra postage.

Synopsis

Pierre Berton, Canada’s most popular historian and a member of the Newsman’s Hall of Fame, was born in the Yukon and educated at UBC. He has received three Governor General’s Awards, two Nellies, two National Newspaper Awards, the Stephen Leacock Medal for Humour, and an award from the National History Society. He holds twelve honorary degrees and is a Companion of the Order of Canada.

IMPORTANT RE POSTAGE: I'm in Canada so books to the USA/Other Countries are International shipments and may be delayed by CUSTOMS and/or HOMELAND SECURITY. I'm using the Biblio standard postage matrix, which gives average postage fees, therefore sometimes for an OVERSIZE or LARGE heavy book or expensive book, the postage may be too low and may require extra charges. If I know this in advance, I will notify the buyer before the order is processed.

This is not a huge book warehouse, it is a small one-owner store run by a true book lover. POSSIBLE DELAYS: I'm elderly and disabled and while this usually does not cause a delay in order processing, it sometimes may cause a small delay for me to get to the post office.
