Boards show moderate patina, wear especially to edges and corners. Prior owner's stamp on front blank, moderate foxing to title page and last few pages of ads, occasional smudge, no tears or folds. Hinges and gutters starting but should hold with proper handling. Paginates: blanks, 384, 24, blanks plus 12 unpaginated plates. All edges gilt. Please see images of the book you will receive. Dark green leatherette cover with gilt Modern Library logo on front, gilt titling on spine. Approximately 4 1/4 by 6 1/2 inches. Endpapers with illustrations by Horace Brodzky (from 1919-1925). The first interior page has overall age tanning. The endpapers have some crackling and closed tears (two areas in front, one are in rear). There appears to be a very light pencil marking on the front endpage. The interior is clean with no handwriting or markings and no tears. The cover has wear along the sides of the spine and the corners.
