This new impression of 1968 is in excellent condition and forms part of number 48 of Travels and Narratives in the Cass Library of African Studies. James Pinnock's BENIN, which forms the other half of this book is a lecture delivered before the geographical societies of Liverpool, Newcastle On Tyne Etc by Mr. James Pinnock sometime around 1897 and contains many photographs and a map. This of course is the new impression of 1968. Two books in one. IN THE NIGER COUNTRY is 338 pp., inclusive of index and map. BENIN the surrounding country, inhabitants, customs, and Trade, takes us to a total of 396 pp. for the two volumes in one inclusive of it's 41 photograph's and 1 map. A LOVELY COPY.
