Book 20 in the Sir Henry Merrivale series, this book measures 5 5/8" x 8 1/2" with 249 pages. Red cloth boards with black particulars on spine only. Original Dust Jacket has black, white and red illustration of rock sculpture of a lady, with particulars in red and white. Very Good Plus/Good. Cover = corners bumped, top and bottom of spine rubbed, 3 small punch marks on spine, else tight, clear, square. Pages = lightly tanned, old price on first fep, else tight, clear, sharp. Jacket has chipping on all edges, 1 1/2" tear on bottom of spine, BCE printed on inside fold, rear solidly tanned, else whole and clearly readable
