Nightmares & Dreamscapes

TNT, 2006. Book. Near Fine. Soft cover. 1st Edition.. Press kit for the TNT production of Stephen King's Nightmares & Dreamscapes, an eight-episode anthology series. It debuted on July 12, 2006, and ended its run on August 2, 2006. Although most of the episodes are from the collection of the same name, there are some stories from different collections by King. The series was filmed entirely in Melbourne, Australia. Episodes based on stories from the Nightmares & Dreamscapes collection are "Umney's Last Case", "You Know They Got a Hell of a Band", "The End of the Whole Mess", "The Fifth Quarter" and "Crouch End". The rest of the episodes are adaptations of "The Road Virus Heads North" and "Autopsy Room Four", collected in Everything's Eventual, and "Battleground" from the anthology Night Shift. Stars include Tom Berenger, William H. Macy, Kim Delaney, Steven Weber, Ron Livingston, William Hurt, Samantha Mathis, and an uncredited Bill Barretta as Savage Commando. The special effects for this anthology series were provided by Jim Henson's Creature Shop. This is a two pocket folder with color pictorial sheet pasted to the front cover. It contains stapled information sheets for each episode as well as stapled color pictorial sheets. A nice and fairly comprehensive press kit and quite uncommon thus..
