Moderate tanning to board edges and spine, which has notable crushing and tearing to ends.

Contents The haunted house -- A message from the sea -- Tom Tiddler's ground -- Somebody's luggage -- Mrs. Lirriper's lodgings -- Mrs. Lirriper's legacy -- Doctor Marigold's prescriptions -- Mugby junction -- No thoroughfare. Each story was issue between 1859 and 1867 [ Dec ] and had 48 pages, not all stories written by Dickens. Each part has caption title, separate pagination. Spine and cover title: Christmas stories from "All the year round". Bound in dark green cloth, triple ruled, with "Christmas Stories from "All the Year Round" to centre of upper cover. Gilt titles to spine. Tightly bound copy, some fleck marks to boards [ images to follow ]; light rubs to corner tips. No inscriptions. Pages excellent throughout. A good + copy overall. .
